would it be possible to fit an mk3 jetta console in my 92 gti? and if so will it be a hard to mcguyver? or a simple transitioning from old to new?

I'm not entirely sure, but it's gotta be 99% the same as a mk3 Golf, right? If not, 100%? If so...

Why would you want to.. one thing that i really love about mk2s and mk1s is the dash
-
if you noticed the picture on the link im not talking about the dash. its the center console im looking at. the plastic surround that covers your shifter and sh!t. im mainly interested because of those drink holders on the mk3 center console haha

I reckon it would fit, you would have to like, cut your original one in half tho to add to the top of your new one cause it doesnt go up as far so you would have a large gap and no fag lighter etc

i could see that being the case.. haha
cheers.
