Title: HELP urgent part no. needed

Hi all,

I am in urgent need of part no. of a early abf ecu without the immobiliser box.
also if anyone has one for sale. mk2 abf conversion done just need ecu

p.s does anyone know about defeating the immobilser via a software crack?????
i am in dire need of ma car back!!!!

can send ecu off to have it defeated, not sure who does it off the top of my head.  a few part numbers for non-immob ecu if you find one ask away and we can check for you.

the alternative is to wire in an immob box, as long as you get a box and kley matched together you can code these to your ecu with vag-com.  loom is simple, just needs an ign live and an earth, plus the diagnostics port needs permanent live and earth. then its wire from ecu to plug on immob box loom, and another wire from immob box to diagnostics port.  hardest part is stripping the loom out of a mk3 as its all tucked inside the dash and is a right pain to get to

I knew it would be you to reply rubjohnny, you are a volkswagen methinks.
at work at the mo so do not have ecu part no.
all work is completed on the conversion(been a little wimp and paid gwerks to do it, removing engine in the street, laying in a oily river for 6hrs freezing was enough for me!!!!!!!!!!)as luck would have it the only thing that got damaged was the plug off the immo box(friend cut it off thought it was speaker wire DOH)

got a ecu ordered part no.037 906 024 be i belive it off a 1994 16v as far as i am aware different to the one that is on the car!!!!

yeah thats an immobilised one as well :(

037 906 024 AB, 037 906 024 G, 037 997 024 GX are all non-immobilised ecus :)

i can continue my search,just back from littlehampton to try that ecu. fail  :sad:
heard and see the beast running on other ecu very good
