Hi guys im having a vr6 clutch and g60 flywheel put on my agu 1.8t on tuseday there is a few things im unsure about could i please give someone a call who has had the conversion done. Ie do i need to worry about crank sencers or bearings. Or will it all fit straight on? Its a costly mistake if i get it wrong cheers guys.

Thankyou mate it was helpful just want to no if i can re-use the thrust bearing i already have on my agu. Cheers
-
if youve bought a clutch kit then thrust bearing should come part of the kit, if not replace it.

Exactly that mate. Should be in the kit if not CHANGE IT. You dont want to take the box of agane to change it, if you dont do it know. As for crank sensors you will be ok. Fallow the links which other people have put up on here and you will be fine.

Sorry im just getting paranoid just dont want it to go wrong so im guessing the thrust bearing for the 1.8t is the same as the vr6 and i can pick these up at any car parts dealer.
-
yes mate thrust bearing is the same. Not sure on who would stock it, would be worth ringing around
