My mate's MK2 16v has been sat around in a yard for about 9 months and now he needs to get rid of it quick.
So after loads of pushing from Velly (Sportline cab) we bought it between us for ?250. The plan is to strip it all down and sell the bits on e-bay, but keep the engine and box for my MK1? :evil:
It's got full leather interior, S/S exhaust, 5 sopke TSW alloys, Kenwood Stereo, big bumpers, M3 wing mirrors, plus loads more.
So we are hopeing to at least break even and then I'll get a free engine and gear box? :smiley:
Just got to drive it to Dubvelopments in Hereford tonight? :rolleyes:

:laugh: Might have to save some cash before I have the conversion done. The leather wouldn't match my car, it's black with blue pipping.

i can wait to get some of the bits off. esp then it will pay the rest of my 20v T hehe
ill be taking my digi cam tonight so we can get bits up 4sale asap.
I think a 16v lump in chris's cab will be nice...she's going to be a flyer :evil:

It took me 4 hours and a lot of promises to get the girlfriend to come around to the idea :sad: I'm not gonna even memtion it to my dad or brother as they both disapprove of my car anyway :angry:

yes its 3 door, black recardo with blue piping inc door cards.
Ill get some pics in the next few days.
Seats are in Vgood con, just usual wear on drives.

What a scary drive it was to Hereford last night :shocked:
Had it on trade plates, so no worries there, but could only get the side lights to work. So driving through all the lanes to get there was a nightmare :sad: At least we got it there, gonna have to start breaking it now :evil: Big thanks to Velly for making this happen :grin:

your cab will be phat with a 16v lump hiding in it :smiley:
And good plan for the breaking of it, will get you 250 back easily!

when my mum started havin a go at how much money ive spent on cars i told her i could quite easily have a cocain or herion addiction , (sometimies might have been cheaper) but that seemed to quieten her down for a few days :grin: :evil:
