i am wondering how can i put a set of audi TT 17" wheels on my mk2 golf gti. i know i can get a porsche wheel adapter to convert to a 5 stud but will these line up to the 5 stud TT wheels.
thanks

Audi TT PCD is 5x100 you could convert to mk3 VR6 golf 5 stud,
A Porsche,s PCD is 5x130
-
you can get adaptors for 4x100 to 5x100 which will probably be easier than swapping hubs but may make the wheels stick out too far, depending on what offset the audi wheels are. but bullit is right..............

dose any one know how hard it is to put the mk3 vr6 set-up on to a mk2 golf, or where to get the wheel adaptores from 4x100 to 5x100
thanks

does any one know any details how to put ether golf gti mk4 brakes or vr6 brakes of the front of my golf gti mk2. this would late me put my audi TT wheels no
thanks everyone

yeah but that would involve changing the hubs i think. which is a hell of a lot more work than buying adaptors. i guess you get some decent brakes thrown in but its certainly not the simplest way to do things.
depending on what golf you've got at the moment will have different methods of doing a hub swap. plus you'd still have the rears to do as well. it depends what your after i suppose? tt wheels on your mk2 or tt wheels new brakes, hubs etc....

i think when pvw fitted the polished tt wheels to their rallye project they did it with adapters. would have thought it would be the easiest option as long as you can find them :)
and just to show you how good they can look:
