Hi all
The problem is this, on turnover the car turns over really slowly as if battery is flat or has low charge,it has a brand new battery, then without notice turns quickly and starts, it has also reset my clock to 86:00 ?????
Anyone got any ideas of where to start please??

Have you checked all the earth points?

Yeah mate, all cleaned and tightened up.... Thanks

Anyone please....

Could be starter motor ?
Did the battery have full charge before attempt to start regardless if its a new battery?
Do you have a spark?
If you advance search and type starting issues or problem starting play with the words and see what comes up

It could be your starter. It is a case less one with the spigot bearing in the bellhousing. That bearing can wear out and give the false impression of a poor battery as the spigot end of the starter will not be captured.

Would you recon it or replace with a new one, how much for a new one,and where from and what make, Bosch???
Thanks

Replace the spigot bearing first that fits into the bellhousing. Its the cheapest thing to replace rather than the starter which can run into 10's.
