Title: PO172; Fuel Trim too Rich (Bank 1) fault code

I have a reoccurring fault code on my octavia, AUM. Its PO172; Fuel Trim too Rich (Bank 1). Ive searched the forum and there's a very vague list of things it could be. Can anyone shed any light on what it could be caused by? I clear the code and it will come back maybe 2 months later.
