if i was to do it from start to finish i would say a good 72hours, maybe more. But i like to take my time with them, cos if you rush then you end up slipping with the powerdrill and putting deep scratches in the metal which you have to flat out again. (I know from previous experience.)

In full i Beed blast the whole manifold to get it all clean, then flat the surface down with 120grit, then 320 grit, removing and smoothing off the welds, then polish it in 3 stages.

I am more then happy to do them for people at a cost, as its very time consuming and very messy.

would look out of place in a dirty diesel engine. On the other hand would fit in well with the half a job engine

I guess you like something shiny to look at when you're under the bonnet fixing another broken pipe / coilpack etc

AGU mate, dont suffer with dodgey coilpacks. Suppose fixing a broken pipe is better than fixing a knackered turbo

the mk4 inlet is the same as most manifolds come out of a cast so dont produce a smooth finish.

mk3 inlet would be easier then the 2.0 bora one, pipes are wider apart

its having the right size wheel to get in between the ports. Only just manage on the 1.8t manifolds.

Jimmy, drop me a PM if you want a mk3 one doing and we can discuss things.
