Turn it on and leave it running. Don't drive it, after about 20 mins the fan should just start :)

Edit - Keep an eye on the temp as you dont want it to Over Heat :O

TB - Throttle Body.
The Air Mass, allows the ECU to adjust how much fuel is needed to mix with the air, without it it dumps to much petrol in and that could damage the CAT if left for a while :(

I'd plug your air mass sensor in and get it replaced asap, tb = throttle body, give it a good clean with carb cleaner there's a guide on here somewhere if you search for it.

As for your fan i'm pretty sure mine kicks in when the oil temp hits 104

disconnect plug for the fan temp sensor on the side of the rad. bridge the red wire to the red/black, then the red/white. fan should run on both slow and fast speeds

Ye that works but fan stil nt comin on its own, wot temp shud the fans kik in? usualy the oil temp doesnt go above 90 and the temp gauge doesnt move frm the midle once its warmd up, not woried abowt but its nice 2no lol

fan should kick in when temp gets near 3/4 on the gauge, seems like system is ok so far. you need to leave the car idling for longer, till oil gets above 90 and gauge starts moving past 90, then thats when fan should kick in
