Title: Hall sender speq

Does anybody know what the hall sender speq is on 8v 2.0 finally sorted out my vagcom and the hall sender is coming up as out of speq does anybody know the best way to sort it ie engine running/off...........

Not really too sure what you mean by the best way of sorting it?  :huh:

It it's coming up as out of spec then it'll need replacing!

The hall sender is on the distributor, when mine went I invested in a recondition dizzy that has been fitted with a new hall sensor  :wink:

Thanks for your imput Dom. Prior to buying vagcom i replaced loads on the car trying to track down the problem things such as

dizzy
coil
relays
ecu temp sensor
crank sensor

i have read some where that even though the dizzy is self alligning you can adjust it slightly to get it in spec. Lokks like a day trawling the web.

out of spec usually means dizzy timing is out, you fix it like this:
