I have had my 8v 2.0 1996 for around 2 months. After trawling this site it has proved successful But 1 last problem (fingers crossed) i have changed loads on the car and recently purchased VAGCom and it arrived this morning. Happy days i thought the problem is the VAGcom is saying that the iso/0bd-11 is not compatible with my car. So i'm stuck in a rutt and asking for help any ideas.........oh i'm running windows 7 from a HP laptop if that helps.

Which version of windows 7? I'm running 64bit and can't get it to work, although I borrowed a laptop running the 32bit version and could get it running.
Also which version of the software are you running?

that code usually means the dizzy timing is out rather than actual failure, but it could be dead. also check wiring to it
