Title: VR6 Splitter on my mk 3 8v

easy folks I have just purchased a vr6 splitter for my 18se 8v, apprently one size fits all: however I have just tried to fit it and it seems to be an inch to long each end! Should I send it back or can you  make them fit?

any help woud be appreciated.

Where did you buy if from? Generally to get a perfect fitting one you'll need a genuine VW one although the ones from Eurowagens fit pretty well!

It is a genuine vw part supposedly, it is from Wagenwerx!

also once u pressed them in place push them in even harder till they click haha see so many with a gap in the middle because people think there in properly but just dont press till they are properly in.

Clicked them in the middle, its jst that on the pasenger side the final clip near to the whel arch is not solid it is sticking out! when I took them off to compare to the old one there seems to be an extra inch! guttered!

Could be a Vento VR6 splitter as they are wider.

Sent it back today and ordered a new one from eurowagens! Cheers for the advice chaps.
