Hi all,I have been messing around with my mk2 project today to find where my water leak was.I found the problem(split hose end) but when i was putting it all back together i snapped one of the water outlets off the wax thermostat thingy.Tried to glue etc but no joy,Does anyone know where i can get one at a reasonable price???.If anyone has one i dont mind paying
your help would be appreciated

Do you mean the front water flange? This is for an 8 valve by the way.

If that is what you mean then why not get a genuine VW one? - still available and only about £12.

sorry i should have explained better,It fits on the front of the carb on a driver model.Im cool with gtis but having something with a carb is a bit strange lol
Its like a t piece and it controls the choke

Yes thats a WAXstat as the car warms up the plunger controls up and down.
Had to change a few myself back in the days.
They used to be about £60, but thats going back some years! GSF might still do them cheap?
