Hello guys,
Can someone help me re Service schedule? I see VW quote prices for minor and major services, but the manual doesn't use that language.
Car is a Mk5 Gti - 56 plate.
The schedule has been (based on ticks in boxes):
Sept 2007 - 9k - Oil change, interval service
Sept 2008 - 19k - Oil change, interval service, interval service inspection, brake fluid
March 2009 - 28k - Oil change, interval service, interval service inspection (long life oil)
Dec 2009 - 38k - Oil change, interval service, interval service inspection, dust and pollen filter
So I assume my next service is Dec 2010 (12mths since last service and now on 43k). Does anyone know what service it needs (minor/major) and also when should the spark plugs, air filter inset, and fuel filter need changing?
(I've already logged it needs a cambelt + water pump)
Thanks

Basically a major service is every 20k / 2 years so you should only need a minor service. Sparks should have been done at the major service @ 40k. Additional jobs like brake fluid are in addition to the service schedule so might need doing too (2 years for brake fluid).
