-
trust me mate r8 is trying, ive been in one at prodrive with an instructor and the tacho does not spin anywhere near as fast as that fellas other vid, mind you i suppose any of them vids can be doctored, but then a vr6t in a 900kg car...........? remember adaptorman?

I thought that at first as well but look what it does to an M5 too:

mate im with you on the vr6t in a 900kg car, i know all too well what these small cars are like with big power, not on the same scale as this, but my little swift GTI with its 160hp engine is a real shocker for some big power cars..
love it

that vid is even worse, the M5 does not get any further away from the camera car till right at the end where he zooms in a tad.. just looked like some boy racer trying to race big power cars in that vid, and the M5 owner just minding his own

still wouldnt say no to an audi r8 if it was going free!
-
C'mon - this is what you meant.
still wouldnt say no to a Suzuki Swift GTI if it was going free!
Why even bother bringing some little ricer tat into this when all you have is a shell and some parts that you probably can't put back together?

I prefer this one of the MK1
Watch the speedo needle, it nearly laps itself

No way that it's doing 300km/h! That'd be over 185mph, doesn't look anywhere near that fast when comparing it to the other traffic which i'm guessing will be doing 70-80mph :undecided:
-
I don't think a MK1 Golf's aerodynamics would let it get to 185 mph, still looked a whole heap of fun though.
-
Oh my god that mk1 is seriously quick imagen bining it at that speed you would be fcuked
-
Both videos look amazing - would love that much power in a tiny car!
