Title: My poor mk2 gti?

Hi can anyone help me please......I bought my beloved mk2 gti about 2 months ago....and only recently i seem to have aquired a knocking or clanking noise coming from the front end? seems to do it when i turn right, and the steering goes a bit wobbly when i excellerate..... had a look but no luck on what could be causing it? 
Anyone got any idea's??????

Outer cv joint on the driveshaft mate. Sounds like ne way

Ummm. If you get the full shaft theb its a t30 spline to gewt it off the gearbox and a 30mm to get the hub nut off. Then just fill gearbox end with grease and replace.
If its the cv your changin. Get an outer boot kit and its got instructions.
