its called twintercooler made by Forge which is a front mount intercooler that allows you to run along side the stock intercooler.
nice purchase Kenny may i ask where you got it from and also did you get any thing else like a turbo discharge pipe to replace the stock pancake pipe.
I was planning to get me one of these but chickened out
-
Nice one Kenny good to see someone else getting on with some serious mods

Well what a weekend! Not the easiest job to do yourself and there was acouple of differences between the Golf in the instructions (us spec) and ours plus the hoses are a b!tch to fit but got there in the end! A worth while mod if thinking about stage 2! Steve why not fit that I.C aswell as the Forge!?
Asker I may ask the misses is she wants 'Front Mounted' tonight!!! Lol ........... Too far?

Kenny, I'm impressed.
Best of luck with Lady K.
But I have a feeling you might be too pooped to pop after all that!
-
Top job Kenny
Personally I find the direct replacement of the THS is better especially for my future plans of a K04 are finally starting to progress.
-
Need a K04 kit to be spec'd up for us! Hopefully am happy with stage 2. When you fitting it then? I don't envy you for that job!
Asker, I think you maybe right once again, early zzzz for me!
-
Steve, when will your LED DRL Xenons be arriving?

Can't wait for you, for Kenny and for moi!

Looks  mate, see you went with the forge stencil, shame you can't see it very well through the grill, is there much of a performance difference?

I think both Steve and Kenny are trying to run away from their respective wives - separately of course and not together.

I took the logo off after I fitted it. Decidied against it plus it would be hard to notice. It pulls a lot harder through the revs, no doubt about that.
Wanted to do some logs before and after fitting on VAGCOM but couldn't find the measuring block :undecided:

I'm glad Danny asked the question, as I thought Kenny has swapped his motor for a bike and his new handlebars had arrived

That is really cool looking...I am jealous.
..mounting it seems a pain indeed
However I am not jealous that your wife has mounted her front on your request...it must have been another pain in the ass for you...
