hi folks been on the forum for a while as ive got 2 mk 4 20 valve turbos  but ive gone and bought myself a 1983 campaign gti and ill be looking for info as it needs a bit of work

hello mate post up the problems and im sure the gurus on here will sort you out. have a good read of the maintenance section for the common problems. also have a look over on mk1golf.org for loads of info  :wink:

cheers m8 ai stay in ayrshire mk 1 mars red 1.8 campaign  a need a few things for the car as the dreaded rust has got to some bits ,sills,spare wheel well usual places a think a need anti roll bar brackets as well pretty clean car for its age newly refurbed pirrelli p slots  and stainless steel 4 branch exhaust needs a gasket for manifold gonna try and replace that on sunday

be good to see how bad the rust is to see how much you really need?  keep an eye on ebay too, a lot of people selling deleted oem stuff at the mo

and google search 'crazy quiff' has stacks of mk1 bits :)
