OK I need help.... I have a Mk2 Golf Driver and I've bought some GTI side sills and arches for it.
I can't figure out how to fix my new side sills to my Mk2 Golf. Has anyone done this before? If so can you give me any advise as to how it's done. Any diagrams?
The parts I have are 2 side sill retaining strips, 10 retaining strip brackets and the 2 side sills themselves.

you could use two screws or pop rivet at the ends (under the jack covers)

i used pop rivets to put mine on.
-
i also use silicon on the sills them selfs and then riveted the ends as said earlier

windscreen sealer works well on attaching bodywork. then as stated above. screw/rivot under the covers.

I just stuck my lost arch on with that sealer I got. it's rock solid now. I'll do my skirts with it too as it's top stuff. ?5 from the windscreen place up the road and ?2.99 for a gun to swirt it with.

what don't you understand about the fitting? clip the 10 bracket things to either the skirt or the strips and offer them up to the other to see how it all goes together. it'll only work one way so you can't go too far wrong!
and make sure you wipe down the surface of the bodywork your going to attatch to with some solvent/panel wipes or something to make sure they are spotless of all dirrt and oils polish etc as the sticky stuff isn't amazing at the best of times!!!
