Ok apologies if my explanation is a bit sh*te, the part i'm asking about is as follows:
It's the part that connects the pipe to the top of the intercooler, in between the pipe and the intercooler there is a connector which is about 4 inches long IIRC.
Well it's that part i'm after.
If you know what it's called and know the part number please advise and anyone know the price of one that'd be a bonus also.
Cheers in advance :afro:

Its a connecting piece
Lost ETKA on my works PC so can't give you a part no
Not sure if the part number is on this pic

Yeah the picture is not the greatest and I lost ETKA when my PC was reformatted last week. Keep forgetting to load it back on
Looking at the pic the bit you need I think is where the pipe comes from the left hand side towards the 90 degree piece which is on its own before the intercooler (middle of the diagram pretty much)

Yeah that's the one, but it's not the pipe it's the metal connector thingy in between, can that be bought on it's own?
Can't tell what number that part is, cheers for the pic though Rhyso

I know exactly the bit you mean but as to whether or not you can buy it separately I've no idea :undecided:
-
Oh jeez I hope you can, if not then you reckon it'd be a case of buying the pipe and hoping it comes with the connector attached?
I hate my car right now, feel like stripping out my sounds out and selling the fooker

Ay you'll most likely need the pipe if you can't buy the connector separately

It's about 1.7GB you need to either torrent or grab it off a mate really.
Asif, I have that pipe laying in my garage if you are looking to buy one. Not sure on the conditions of the lugs mind.
-
okay, cheers
-
Hafizur cheers for that mate.
It's the end near number 8 where it attaches to the intercooler, there is a metal connector on the end of the pipe that can come out, not sure if it should be able to come out or not.
Adam condition of the lugs is paramount as i'd end up with another boost leak if their worn :(
Why can't the car just run right and be resolved easily :( it's one thing after another :(

I have screwed the outer pipe to the inner on that very same joint but tempted to get the SFS pancake replacement
