Title: stick with the eibach springs....
Post by: geb105 on 03 November 2010, 18:08
this is my old gti with eibach pro kit -30mm....this was spot on for me very good springs, the ride was great etc but was always bit worried bout it being slightly too high, but being a black car it wasnt that obvious

however iv just got a new tdi thats silver and not sure whether the eibach springs are very slightly too high? was thinkin of getting 35mm jamex springs off ebay instead to get the required ride height, or will they be more or less the same drop....?

if you wanna real drop then go for coilovers, if its springs then eibachs are usually the best

+1 but Eibach pros will never give the low look you appear to be after

there diamond cut RS4's mate, they've corroded abit when you get close to them tho unfortunately   there sat in my shed waiting to either be put back on my new car or re-furbed...

i'm just interested in springs really, low funds....

just when i see cars lowered on jamex springs they look a lot lower than these eibachs im rolling on....

eibachs -25-30mm

jamex   -35-40mm

spose its quite a difference really

i got eibach an glad did not go lower (like all my other cars i have owned) don't need to slow down for speed bumps etc, 100% better than standard and still got the comfort (must be getting too old) lol
