Title: Golf GTi Mk 111 headlights

Hi , can anyone help please ? When I put my headlights on main beam only the main beam lights come on , not the dipped unit as well . Is this right . Have checked all bulbs and seem ok .

If I understand you right, don't all cars do this ? :undecided:

Sorry , What I mean is on main beam all four lights should come on . On mine only the centre two do .I know they should be on because a mate has same car and his do

my R reg gti, all 4 lights come on on full, so did my L reg TDi. My mates R reg 1.4L, has only 2 spots on full.
So I think its just the differant lights and looms! :undecided:
