Title: 16" alloys, 205/50/16 tyre scrub

Just bought a mk3 gti, its got mk4 montreals on it with 205/50/16 tyres, it scrubs the outside arch and is very close to the suspension cups, is this coz ov the profile? Was thinkin ov getin sum 15s and lowerin it 60mm wud this be a scrub free idea ;-}

You could put some 195/45/16 toyo t1r's on it for £200.

Wrong size tyres.

195/45/16 or 205/45/16 or 215/40/16 are the correct sizes.

50 profile is just not right!

I havent put the wheels on they was on wen i bought it, thinkin ov gettin sum dishd wheels like the ats and ronals but to deer 4me  :-( any cheaper but similar style duz any1 no

Am goin through near donny mate on ma way so just make us an offer I've had em nearly a year just sat ther still wrapped from when I got them from ebay. And I drive a mk2 so unless u got early gti 2pin clocks then just offer us somats
