Hi all im Dave just bought my first vw a 2000 golf gti not the best of colours (jazz Yellow) but i like it lol  :smiley:

its already been lowered a bit with jamex springs thinking of getting r32 style front end what you guys reckon and what do you think about the colour?

thanx guys loving the golf had it 4 days and really enjoying it a couple of things need to be done but hey its a ten year old car, just made myself a vw signature what u think?

Welcome to the forum.  I really like the colour, especially as I have never seen it before.  If I was you I'd slam it to within an inch of the ground... but that's just me. haha.

If you are going to change the front end would just go for the anniversary bits rather than the R32, IMO.

im suprised at no one seeing the colour before its standard colour nothing been done to it been and got 2 new front tyres and a full exaust system from ebay for 60 notes :) as mine has too holes one in back box and one in cat thinking of gettin rid of cat altogether is tht wise?

Where are you based?  I know of a really good exhaust place quite local to Essex.

I'm pretty sure if you remove the Cat it'd be an MOT failure.

In relation to the front end, I always think the cars look so good standard it'd just be a case of working with what you've got.  Maybe some subtle black detailing, slam it, black alloys and concentrate on a top interior...  This is my opinion of course.

Yes, the R32 is too different to the GTI front end, the anniversary lower bumper will finish the front off nicely.  All depends what you want to do though thats just my opinion.  :smiley:

all these decisions to be made lol well ive started ive just replaced my key fob casing lol with a new one and got it programmed for a tenner  :smug: also my key didnt work on my door locks never thought of checking it whe i bought car just used central locking same guy made it work for tenner also best 20 quid spent  :smiley:
