Just looking for a bit of technical advice on tyres, namely load index. I am about to swap to winter rubber on 17" Monza's and the standard tyre is 225/45/17 91W. The tyre i am looking at is the Continental TS830P and i can only find it in 225/45/17 94V.
I'm not worried about the drop in speed rating from W to V but wondered if it was okay to go from a load index of 91 to 94 which is also rated as XL (extra load). Will it adversely affect the handling and will i need to run different tyre pressures to compensate?
Any ideas :undecided:

It will be fine, your new tyres could take a greater load but they are both in the ballpark of your vehicle weight. Tyre pressures should be the same.
