I'd also read the small print VERY carefully. Trade insurance does not always mean you can just drive any vehicle - it MUST be connected with the business in some way so don't just go taking your mates' cars for a spin as you may not be covered.
-
It might be ""booked in for a service though""

i am a trader, well sort of lol does buying cars from auctions and selling them on make me a trader?

Not particularly.
You have to watch trade insurance.
As I work for a company, I can drive anything I like if it's to do with work.
As the owners of the company, my bosses can drive whatever they like, whenever they like and all their cars are on the traders policy.

yeah, i know its a bit dodgy but to be honest im not going to be driving anything other thann my golf ( no1 will let me drive there cars lol) and i konw im fine to do that, it was cheaper to go on his traders insurance than renew my insurance with Admiral, who have just been on watchdog!!!!!
