HD anything tbh Chuff, most of it is pretty darn impressive. Forza does indeed look the mutz nutz but check out Gears of War or Halo Reach for a real graphical treat.

All I need to do is connect my xbox to my HD ready Tv with and HDMi cable?

Yes :)

I might one day get into HD, still on a 21" widescreen CRT at the moment though.

Why not go for a 19" or 26" HDTV?

Because my current TV works fine? I'm not spending £200+ on a new telly when my current one is still more than fine for the job.

That's fair bud, I understand that but I would never go back to a CRT TV now that I've got HD. HDTV to 3DTV is a different matter, but CRT just isn't the same as HD.
-
I've got my ps3 connected up to the HDTV with the HDMI cable, and I can say I'm never going back to non HD. The difference is unreal.
-
I don't disagree that's better to look at but but until my current telly dies I'm not interested in spending that kinda money on a new one.

My xbox didnt even have an hdmi slot! just had in on the pc jack which was still good.
If you haven't got full HD then the pc jack will give better graphics. I read it on a forum, so dont shoot me if you dont agree with it, what I read it made sense as to why the pc jack would be better.

The first lot of 360s back from 2005 - 2006 didn't have HDMI as standard, you're right. However what you're doing is connecting it via VGA which for most people looks better, depending on the screen you apply it to. I just used component until I had a 360 which was HDMI.

Funny how you can throw your ideals out of the window on a whim and then spend twice the amount you said you wouldn't spend.
37" 1080p LG + Forza looks awesome. I might be limping after the wife gets home and sees it though.

Have to agree, just bought myself a 32" Samsung LED tv and the difference with a HDMI cable is very noticable, much clearer and easier on my eyes.
