Title: Where to get N75 Valve for Golf GTI Mk5 (and which type)?
Post by: roastbeef on 30 October 2010, 17:04
Hi there,

Had my Golf GTI Mk5 remapped by R-Tech yesterday, who by the way are clearly incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and care about your car, highly recommended and worth the trip from Leeds.

Anyway, a healthy dose of extra BHP was added but it is a bit down on torque, with boost in the midrange being a bit low.

R-tech have suggested trying a new N75 valve, just wondering:

1. If there is anywhere to get them for the mk5 GTI other than the main stealer?
2. Are they easy to DIY fit?
3. Are there different types (from looking at forums on mk4 there are different types) and which should I get?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Regards,

John

just get standard replacement..

tps will sell them..

Dont get race ones etc as they are just standard ones off different cars with a higher price tag.. and they need mapping in which your standard one doesn't obviously..

hi i have just had my car remaped yesterday by celtic tuning and i took it to my mates garage and its running at 267bhp and 285 torque.
but my problem is the guy from celtic tuning has told me to buy an n75 and a forge d/v which i have bought.
question what are they are do they just fit straight on to the car
