After coming to terms with not gettin insured on a gti
ive goin for a 1.3 or 1.6 CL :)
Any ideas wat companies i could go with?
and im 18 btw
and the quotes your getting for this car too,
cheers

GSI Insurance or Hastings Direct mate.
GSI won't be on comparison websites but give them a call, their customer service is top grade and they'll do what they can to give you a good quote. Beat ALL other quotes I had previously by miles and no need to haggle either.
Failing that, Hastings Direct seem quite new drivier friendly. They are on comparison websites though, so don't waste your time on their website or calling them, get on comparison websites - don't give them your number though, or 20 insurance companies WILL stalk you for 20 weeks.
HTH.

Cheers bud
Ill look into them
-
just checked up on hastings and they quoted me 10,000!!!!!
and that was me as policy holder, mum and dad named drivers, third party!!
its ridiculous on 1.3 golf!
-
why not get a 1.0 polo?
-
Naa not for me mate!
-
Tried diff combos of named drivers? Some change quotes v. differently.
Well looked after you cant go wrong with a 1.3 Golf
-
Well so far i tried tesco, which have been the best, on my current car...but, as i tried to put myself as a named driver the were unable to quote! its so frustrating!!..and i even put my girlfriend whos 20; driving for 3 years, as well as both my parents!!!

use gocompare, been told quinn is good for young drivers also
-
ill try go compare, yeah i was with quinn last year, when i passed...but, apparently they've gone into administration or somthing like that...

Quinn direct are unbeatable if you're insuring on a provisional but as soon as you pass it flies up! I was with them and would have liked to have stayed but the premium was way too hi.
Good luck mate.
