How's it done?
Does anyone in kent fancy making beer tokens or lending a hand?

On the mk3 is was when you flattened the lip on the inside of the arch (where the GTI arches are rivetted) so that it doesn't poke inwards any more, giving you more wiggle room for the wheel/tyre. I'd imagine it's the same idea on the mk5, though I'm not near the car to go look :grin:
