Title: 1.6 driver weber carb
Post by: acko on 02 February 2005, 19:00
I'm thinking about chainging my standard carb (pierburg?) for the weber one. Theres one for sale on ebay at the moment but it says it has a manual choke whereas mine is automatic choke. I had the idea that all 1.6 drivers would be the same with auto choke?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=9889&item=4524007369&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Can anyone tell me whether this would fit, and if so how difficult is it to do and set up etc?

Cheers guys

Acko

Should fit straight on, and easy to set up. You will have to fit the choke knob and route the cable to the carb.
It has a manual choke as this is a replacement carb to rid yourself of the troublesome pos pierbuirg.
