Title: RNS510 Model Variations

I'm after the latest RNS510 with LED display. Do all type 'C' have LED display or just those made in 2010?

There are plenty on ebay but i'm unsure exactly what i need.

Any clarification appreciated!   :undecided:

Also has anyone bought one on ebay they can recommend?

See Darren (mortygt140) on here.

Not sure on how much he sells them for but trustworthy and no risk unlike eBAY. Also fits and codes them via VCDS.Quite a few people have bought from darren on here(including me).

I've had a bluetooth kit from Darren, quality guy and definitely trustworthy.. for a Yorkshireman. ;)

No. I bought a type "C" off of Darren and it isn't the latest LED screen.
To be fair to Darren though he never advertised it as such.
What you want to be looking for is the star button next to the eject button. The old versions have what looks like a speaker with an exclamation mark

Darren sells the latest model with the * button he came across from Leeds and fitted and coded it with my reverse camera kit and LED tail lights.

He is a top man, very pleasant and great at fitting these items, only took him a couple of hours. 

You won't go far wrong if you buy from him.

I dont really want to go the ebay route but i have sent Darren and email and no reply yet.

Maybe he's away as kids are on half term this week??

Think he did mention in older post that he was off on his hols. :grin:

Weeee i'm back :grin: Been in Scotland all week,  I'm hoping to get some RNS510 C LEDs some time in the next 2 weeks? 

Unfortunately Steve(P3asa) bought some of the first I advertised and they where the earlier C versions although they are still a good unit,

Hi Darren and welcome back.

Unfortunately I cant wait two weeks as i'm selling my RCD510 this weekend so i'll have to go elsewhere. I may be after a Bluetooth Kit though in a few weeks.

By the way, i have read the RNS510 is plug and play but will my reverse camera work straight away or will i need some 'coding' that i keep reading about on here?
