Title: clock reset?...

hey
 
     the clock in my brothers 1.4i mk3 golf 92 (in the instrument cluster) seems to reset each time he switches he car on/off...? any ideas??!

mines done this a few times. but only when the battery is low on juice...

does he drive it much?

My VR6 started doing this - I just changed the battery and it was cured.

yeah mines only done it when i havent driven it much.. so we're kinda saying hte same thing..

either battery is shagged (could be one of many things) OR its low on juice through lack of use

mine would often do it when i'd been sat engine off/interior lights on/stereo on with a mate on our regular sat evening KFC/Mc Donalds/Burger King mission
