Title: BRAKING rocks in the hot sun

front brake  caliper is sticking dust cover as perished so i carnt decide do i get a seal repair kit or do i buy a secondhand caliper off ebay? been told the front calipers are the same as the mk3 does anyone know if this is true. car is 92 8 valve

Better to fit a s/h caliper to be honest.

if it has 239mm brakes the low end mk3 4 stud have same calipers as mk2, VWII. but check before you remove the later ones may use a different brake flexi fitting on the caliper. I know the ones on our seat ibiza are VWII but use a banjo bolt rather than screw in fitting

ok cheers guys   gonna try a repair kit theyve got them in at local vw 9 pound odd i think.   if i balls that up its 2nd hand caliper time  :grin:
