I then took that off and replaced it with the OEM SMIC as i couldn't afford a Forge or THS one as im not rich im poor from running a mk4 golf lol

Obviousy that meant i had to get another front bumper as i had butchered the old one..

I bought one off ebay apparently 'BRAND NEW' like hell it was the paint on it was the worst ive even see runs the lot.. down the sides where the bumper meets the wings it sticks out about 1/2 an inch or so which is terrible !! Buy bad buy twice fact !!

Tried on friday to get it to fit by butchered the sides and obviously as im not body work man i failed miserably..

Luckily a guy on here called Johnnyturbo got in touch with me and told me i could buy his R32 replica front bumper.. with genuine grills.. LCR splitter and de-badged grill for 125 notes.. happy days.. only downside i cant have it till after 25/11/2010   Counting down the days and even when i receive it i will have to get it painted up to my colour..

Well fitted my poly bush to my dogbone mount.. really am not sure on the vibration when pulling away.. hopefully this will settle down after the bush has bedded itself in.. Note to anyone doing dogbone mount bushes what ever you do DO NOT lose the little compression nut that holds the bloody thing together ive had to make myself up a custom nut from losing mine as the thread on ukmkiv's doesn't state there  is even a nut there lol

On the plus side you can really really notice the difference once pulling away and booting it so much more smooth with the gear changes and throttle response is better.. worth all of the £30 i paid for powerflex bush and the bolts from VW..

Also fitted my little bit of 4mm silicone tubing to the 007p.. to be honest i didnt need to replace as my OEM hose was in great shape not brittle at all but still changed it anyways..

Thats all for this week..

Parts still need to get -

- Cat-back exhaust
- De-cat or sports cat
- Aero arms and blades

Getting remap on 6th december so need to have.. catch can installed.. service.. plugs.. fuel filter.. Also going to get RTech to install a forge TIP for me..
