What's the best way to clean matt/satin paint ?
I have done my bonnet matt black and i washed the car the other day and seams to have marked it, i am not that bothered as its not finished needs a couple of coats in a wind free environment as i did it out of a rattle can.

satin black is a pain in the a-hole dude, as you have found it marks easily, wash with a ph neutral shampoo as normal but make sure as soon as you have rinsed it off you get it dryed asap to avoid water marks, the only wax (that i know of anyway) you can use on matte/satin black is swissvax opaique. but all that said it will still mark if you touch it unfortunatly.

It would probably be worth it if was a respray but not for something outa a rattle can lol ill just keep it clean and dry

any of the dodojuice shampoos are good, supernatural being proberly the most economical due to its higher dilution ratio. britemax cleanmax comes in a 32oz bottle with a measuring chamber which is very handy, you only need 1oz of product mixed with 15ltrs of water and its very slick and cleans well, rinses brilliantly and is around a tenner.

no probs,
forgot to say aswell, when your cars a little dirtier than normal just use 2oz of product to concentrate it to give you a little more cleaning power, but if you wash the car on a regular basis then 10z is fine.
its smells of grapes btw. love it
