Title: interior door handles

Ok door card off and I can't see how to get the handles off, the metal rod won't flex enough to come out and I can't see a way of detaching the surround....am I missing something obvious?

Is that the external door handle? The screw/bolt is on the side of the door, with another on the outside of the handle below the trim piece.

It was the one you use to get out of the car, yeh its sorted.

For anyone that searches this, you just pull the tab under the housing towards you and then pop the whole thing towards the hinge of the door and it pops out :)
