Title: Front Bumper removal how?

Anyone know were on here those photos from elsawin are of how to remove the front bumper?

Leave it in the car park at Bromley train station, someone will remove it for you.

Here you go Snoopy


Remove radiator grille

Remove front bumper cover

–   Remove bolts -4-.
–   Remove bolts -2- (pointing upwards) on left and right of wheel housing.
–   Remove bolts -3- from wheel housing.
–   Remove bolts -5- and -6- from underneath.
Further removal is only possible with the help of a second mechanic.
–   Pull front bumper cover -1- out of fasteners of guides on left and right of wing -arrows a-.
–   With the aid of a second mechanic, pull off front bumper cover -1- parallel -arrows b- from vehicle.
–   Disconnect connectors from all electrical components.

Notes and work sequence for parking aid are located in → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.94
Instructions and work specifications for the Park Assist system can be found in → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.94
–   Disconnect washer fluid hose connectors (if fitted) → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.92

I should have said in the original post this is to fix a parking crease a friends 09 TDI SE now has (a gate came round and bent the bumper. :sad:
I guessing the SE one is fixed exactly the same though.
