Title: asr button on or off

second topic tonight
130 51 plate
the asr button when i push it, it go's orange and a little symbol lights up on my dash now does that mean its on as i have watched lots of car shows on tv and they turn it off which i would think the asr comes on as standard and then you turn it off.
because when you turn rear window heater on the button goes orange and when i push the asr button it goes orange and the symbol comes up on dash so is it on or not?

Symbol on the clocks means its OFF

Its always on by default
