Im in a bit of a dilema , trying to pick wheels is hard work , ive got to decide which will be best for handling and looks , and cost of replcement when i damage them , so lemme know what you think ?:undecided:
-
no idea. what ever wheel weighs the least.
i think 15" will give you the best performance.
-
Im having wheel trouble aswell. Mines got these stupid cheap boy racer wheels on that look awfull. I want to get a set of bbs' but they have to be 16" or bigger due to 'enhanced' brakes! Im having trouble finding some, and it would be nice if they were cheap!
Any advice?
Cheers Dave

944

Take a look at some 15 inch OZs, There light as anything and if you have around ?800 to spend a set of OZ superleggas would suit you fine. There the lightest street level alloys you can get.
-
Steelies are great and the G60 ones are just that little bit tricker.
Plus if you bashem then you can, within limits bashem back into place.
-
if its a trackday car i wouldnt give a f**k what the wheels looked like!!
-
Yeah , but it will be used at my road car too , so its at least got to look half good
-
well u'd probably need 2 set of wheels then cause after a trackday your gonna be needing new tyres
so set of steels or cheap alloys for the trackday. and a set of nice BBS's for normal road use
alot of people i know who trackday there cars ovehere. take along there trackday wheels in the boot and once at the track they swap them over. then swap them back again on leaving the track
-
compomotive  they must be up there with the lightest i would have thought
-
G60 steels for track , BBS` or 944s for road, best of both worlds ?
-
decisions been made for me a set of 16" 944 rims with tyres for ?92 quid , god dam sold i tell thee, cant wait to get em polished an on my motor , for road use only i think tho
-
cheap as chips - shame the adapters cost more than the wheels!
-
Yeah but im sure i can make some cheaper than chips , a full CNc worshop running software minardi havent got yet , yhis is budget on a grand scale
