Most dealers will retro-fit it for £150
Some forum members offer a fitting service so works out a little bit cheaper; depends on if you're going to use it mind. Personally I don't like cruise control
If you're handy with a screwdriver and removing trim then its a DIY job although you will need VAGCOM to code it in

True mate probably not worth doing as mrs uses car for 10 mile round trip to work each day lucky me as a uses a fiesta van

Urm not 100% sure but I think it raises the engine limiter and gives you full manual control so doesn't shift up automatically even when in manual mode
Hurdy or SteveP are the best people to speak to as they both had it on their ED30's

Ok cool how do they go after a remap? Ive never owned a petrol turbo car but have drove old rs turbos r5 turbos etc When i drove this i was waiting for the boost to come in but it just pulls all the way i used to like the build up then all hell break loose lol. Ive had a mk2 gti xr2's xr2i clio williams clio 182 now this.

Stupidly quick! Been out in a couple and it puts many a car to shame; the mid range is epic lol

Would you go revo or bluefin?

Would you go revo or bluefin?
Neither
Went in a Stage One REVO and was left feeling very disappointed. Went in the exact same car with an R-Tech remap and the difference was night and day
Never been in a Bluefinned car so can't comment on how well that goes

300+bhp

Great car you got there, Ed 30 is my next port of call I think.

Abit optimistic.
expect for stage 1 one, around 270bhp before you want to add exhaust and intake to hit 280's.
300 bhp is only achievable with exhaust/intake on stage2.
stage 2+ brings up 330+bhp.

Have a look at Superchips website, they are quoting 307bhp for a stage 1, 321bhp for a stage 2 and 337bhp at stage 3.

Most will tell you exactly how optimistic those figures are for a Stage 1 :lipsrsealed:
Peak figures are all pub talk anyway - what you want is the most 'average power'

And their Rolling road said my car standard was 255bhp . Their Rollers are quite famous for this very reason chap.
VW quote 230 bhp, and mine runs precisely that on Dyno dynamics when she's stock.
I wasted my money when i went on their rollers.
The Customer care though, i cant rate high enough.
