Title: BUZZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on my vw golf gti mk2 KR engined i acidently put some ancient fuel in the tank and next time i went to start it had a flat battery so i replaced the battery and still didnt start so i filled the tank up with superunleaded and still didnt start so i was told to replace the fuel pump so i have done that aswell and still no starting so i have put some easy start down the air intake and it fires but as soon as up stop it stops firing. i have also notist a buzzing coming from the top of the engine which has a pipe to the airfilter PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANY IDEAS PLEASE REPLY

Have u checks the fuelpumps got power going to it? Also is the relay  knackerd

Buzzing is your ISV, which is normal.

Yep, normal

Is the fuel pump priming / running all ok.

Could be a blown fuel pump relay

pull the relay and bridge the 2 large pins. if pump runs its relay, ecu isnt powering up or relay trigger wiring is damaged. have you checked the fuse? have a read of my fusebox faq page 2 it has relay & fuse locations for both pre and post-90 mk2 fuseboxes
