Title: I'm confused, Speed sensor, Vehicle or Engine?

Hi all,

I'm just about to pop to Europarts and get a engine sensor but it dawned on me that i'm not 100% sure it is that.

I have this read from the ECU;

   Controller: 037 906 025 A
   Component: SIMOS 4S           1823
   Coding: 00000
   Shop #: WSC 00000
1 Fault Found:
00625 - Vehicle Speed Signal
            16-00 - Signal Outside Specifications
Readiness: N/A


Anyone got any ideas?

Did you scan it with the engine off? If so try again with the engine running and see if you still get it  :smiley:

Yes, engine off.

Ok, will give that a go. I kinda assumed it should be off when you run diags.
