As long as ecu code is the same it will be fine. I ran an agg ecu in my old. Ady.

Ahh okay. I recently put an engine in mine which was meant to be the ady like my old engine. I looked on the timing case after i fitted it  :lipsrsealed: and it says agg. So I wondered whether it was an ady with a agg cover on it. (If you get what i mean)

AGG is different managment set up so would run better on the correct ecu, however I believe you would need to do some work to get it run.

Cheers. Maybe the engine I have put in is actually the ady in that case. Not sure about any running issues as such cos im running it in at the mo so havent thoroughly tested it. Is there any way I can find the code other than the timing case?

Should be stamped in the block.
