Hi im Reedy, im currently considering a Golf Mk 4 tdi, now from what i have heard it seems that the GT TDI PD 115 is the best for money and performance.

Im after a diesel because its cheap and cheap to insure.

Any ideas?

I do prefer petrols, is there much difference with the insurance with a 1.8 GTI and a 1.9 GT TDI?

At the moment i drive a vauxhall corsa, i get enough stick about it already.

SO what you think guys and gals?

 as for diesel Vs petrol , theres very little differance between the golf from what i know , but at the end of the day its still tracktor juice

Welcome to the forum. I think you'll find that the diesel is cheaper to insure than the petrol. I'm sure someone will let me know if I'm wrong.  :grin:

if you want a diesel get a PD 150  :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
