im 29 with 2 years ncd and 6 points and got my insurance down 2 £119 fully comp with footman james they offer a great classic policy with breakdown cover, you can get an online quote, the usual boll*x applies garaged 1500mile limit ect.. but for that price il take the gamble.. here's the link: http://www.footmanjames.co.uk/classic_car.aspx#

1500 mile? Was that ment to be 15000 miles? Or do you just hardly have to drive?

I've coverd 15000 miles in under ten months. Either way. Cheep insurence.

lol nooo 1500 miles but there is an option to increse it whilst in cover on the policy I always say 1500 even tho I did 8K last year,,, but remember your insurance will not cover you if you get caught forging miles,  :wink:

I dont think that increasing the milage affects it that much but im not in a position to pay much more, I understand it doesnt suit everybody, just thought id share my knowlege.

I would hardly advertise that you lied on your insurance policy ... invalidate it much?

FJ do ask the opening and closing mileage on renewal/new business. And remember NCB is not given or considered on a Classic Car policy.

A change in your annual mileage does affect the premium.

After speaking to FJ about increasing my milage they can do it to 4500 total but with and addition charge of £120.
