Title: Monza 2 refurb
Post by: Mark Hateley FF on 13 October 2010, 22:07
Has anyone ever had this done?

When I bought mine I had the Monza 2 but the previous owner liked to kiss the kerb to often. The garage I bought it from decided to do the cheapest job available   and make it a dull finish as a refurb.

Im now looking to get them refurbed to the original, but is this possible? Or will I need to buy new ones?

Many thanks.

dont see why you cant refurb them again mate unless they are knackered i.e split, chunks gone etc

I think there are only a handful of companies that can restore the original finish

These guys http://www.aerocoat.net/Aeromaxtm.htm have an excellent rep for restoring MK4 Anniversary wheels which had a similar style finish.  Might be worth contacting them and asking what they can do
