Title: Whinning Noise

Hi all, I'm planning on selling my Mk2 1.6. However i would like to get this whinning noise sorted before i sell it.

I'm sure its coming from the alternator drive belt. It's hardly noticable when cold or moving, however when stuck in traffic and the temp rises to 1/2 way, it gets very noisy. Once moving it eventually goes away with the temp coming back down to a 1/4.

I'm looking to get £500 for the car it has a few little niggles like most mk2's, but the noise has been annoying me.

Any Advice.

sounds more like rad fan bearings.
