Sorry i had the phone the wrong way round :embarassed:
Yes it makes that tick tick tick thump noise exactly as it sounds in the video as you press it. :undecided: .
The passenger door is by far the worst but the drivers door also does it and to a much less small degree so does the rear passenger door, rear drivers door seems ok. :undecided:

was it you who stripped their doors down ? :undecided:
-
Not me, i think it was SteveP.
-
i could not remember who it was just remembered someone posting pictures of the doors stripped down,i`ll try mine next time im in it.

Just don't hear any rattles as I have hardly driven my car in the last 2 weeks.
-
I'll check tomorrow as Ive an annoying buzz from mine, which goes away if I lean on the arm recess in the door, which I cannot pinpoint
-
I have an armrest which clunks in every position apart from when it is in its lowest mode. I am going to live with it.
-
My doors have started rattling again. This is after the door lock on the drivers side has been replaced and I have covered the door catches with insulation tape. The dashboard rattles and the central vent part (at the top of the centre console) has now become detached slightly, leading to more rattles.
It really is shoddy quality. Plus whilst the car steering is absolutely straight I am convinced the camber is out, meaning I have to over exaggerate the steering position to retain a straight line when on a left, or indeed right camber.
I'm going to try a different garage to Altrincham because they couldn't find anything wrong a few months back-see if I get a better response.
And my door does tick when it gets warmed by the sun.
Sheesh!
-
Just checked mine and they don't make a sound mate, apart from the initial click of the plastics being pressed which i think is normal.
-
Checked mine tonight and it's fine, not at all like yours
