Title: How do you remove the manual window winder ?

I need to remove the drivers door card, in order to remove it I need to remove the window winder, but I cannot see how it is fixed. What is the correct method of removal.

The round bit behind the winder body is a clip. If you push it tothe side it should unclip and the winder will come off

haha, i had this same problem with my old polo! didnt realise there was a clip until after id attacked it with a screwdriver, a claw hammer and finally my boot. :angry:
